about

In April 2024, I lost my mom.It was then I realized that life’s most important moments often go unnoticed... until they are gone.

In my grief, I’ve found myself longing for the most ordinary moments with my mom. I just want to call her during a long drive and sit together in silence. I want her to show up at my door unannounced to give me a hug. The ordinary moments were so special and I didn’t realize it at the time.

In my grief, I also searched for hobbies, which is when I found goldsmithing. Learning how to shape metal and create jewelry has brought me so much joy during a time of so much sadness.

The combination of the two is how Mundane Metals was born. Every piece is hand-crafted and designed to bring beauty to your mundane. Because the mundane isn’t boring. It’s the most important part.
